Body Key 90 day Challenge - Start

Ive decided to do the BodyKey 90 day challenge as I really need to jump start my weight loss and get healthy again after almost 2 years.  I was at 192 as of Memorial day 2012 and had been working out and eating healthy consistently for 1.5 years but just got so busy with wedding planning and then being married and lets just be honest, being lazy!

So, what is the BodyKey 90 day challenge?

The limited-life, exclusive BodyKey by Nutrilite™ Challenge Kit gives you great tools for a strong start. First, take the Inherent Health® Weight Management Genetic Test to reveal your personalized weight loss plan based on your genetics. Then get started right away with supportive products that will help reset your metabolism, replace meals, and control your appetite with better snacking choices.

The best part of this plan is the Inherent Health Genetic Test.  This is probably the one thing that uses science to tell us how our bodies react to exercise and diet.  Everyone's bodies are different and the simple formula of calories in vs calories out is just too simple.  It all depends on what types of calories to make sure that you lose weight but safely and in a method to keep it off.  You don't want to be skinny fat!

I received the kit last Friday and pulled out the genetic test:

Opened that sucker up and

Took out the brushes, rubbed and twisted the inside of my left and right cheek, filled out the form and sent that bad boy back.  Now, you wont know your results for a little bit so until then, you follow a generic diet plan which consists of:

Nutrilite Slimmetry
Meal Replacement Shakes
BodyKey Slim Popcorn
BodyKey Slim Soup Mix
BodyKey Green Aloe Shots
XS Burn

Plus you get access to www.mybodykey.com for 1 year which you can use to log your eating, exercises, tells you how the plan(once you get your results) works and what to eat.  Ive only used it a couple of days but seems pretty simple and straightforward.

Here is my starting weight.

Goals:
1. Lose 1-2lbs per week which equates to 12-24 lbs.  I really want to get back down to 192 but we shall see.
2. Cut out diet soda.  I was drinking almost 5-6 cans a day and over the last 2 weeks I have been trying to do 2 per day which has been a struggle on weekdays but weekends it hasn't been that hard.
3. Get back to lifting 3x per week
4. Get back to running 3x per week

Benefits:

1.  Look good
2.  Feel good
3.  Won't die of accidental Diet DP poisoning
4.  Get rid of the pain im getting in my glutes and thighs due to my spine being bent out of shape due to the extra weight (I saw a chiropractor, this is not my diagnosis)

I plan to document every day of this journey and when I did my last 90 day challege using Body for Life, the most I ever lost was 10lbs so I will use that as a benchmark.
