Day 4


Today wasn't the best of days and the purpose of these posts it to be completely transparent and Im going to get in trouble once my wife reads this..... :)


I didn't work out because I didn't sleep well and wasn't able to get up early so that I could work out.  I know this is just an excuse but come on, its my first week.

Food - I didn't do well here and I think I know why.  Diet DP.

Breakfast - Had a Nutrilite Cherry Almond bar which I think triggered some urges to drink diet dr pepper as I was in the habit of eating a bar and diet dp together for like, forever.

Lunch - Nutrilite Meal Replacement shake - RTD version

Snack - Oh man, this was bad.  I started drinking Diet DP earlier and ended up eating some peanut butter and crackers, fruit snacks, the rest of the Skinny pop and some Austin Lemon Ohs.  Note to self, dont run a vending business when you are trying to lose weight.

Dinner - The wife made some macaroni and cheese and brats.  She didn't take my advice on making grilled cheese sandwiches with macaroni and cheese in the middle.

After Dinner:  Went out with the guys to a place called The Lucky Monk.  Its a nice place, they brew their own beer.

I resisted for all of 20 min and then ordered a light beer and some Parmesan fries.  At least I didn't order the grill cheese burger that one of my companions did.

NOTE:  I was researching diet soda the other day and it noted that diet soda actually increases your appetite and I feel that this is true.  Since I have been drinking only water and taking slimmetry, I have had less urges to just randomly eat stuff until I start drinking that stuff.

I am going to go to 1 soda per day starting next week and see what happens.  Stay Tuned!
